Your Role

EMS Business Development

• Contribute to the EMS commercial strategy, identifying target markets, customer segments, sales channels, and growth opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners, including installers, integrators, energy suppliers and end customers.
• Identify, negotiate, and develop strategic partnerships that accelerate the adoption and deployment of Octave's EMS solutions.

Revenue Growth

• Drive revenue growth through effective sales, pricing, and market positioning strategies.
• Develop and manage the EMS sales pipeline and business development activities.
• Contribute to the commercial objectives, track performance, and continuously improve sales effectiveness.
• Support partners throughout the sales process and help remove barriers to successful project delivery.

Market & Product Strategy

• Contribute to the definition and evolution of Octave's EMS value proposition and go-to-market strategy.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to promote Octave’s EMS solutions and strengthen Octave’s market presence.
• Represent Octave.energy at industry events, trade fairs, and customer meetings.
• Work closely with management team to align commercial activities with overall business strategies and provide inputs for product development.

Skillset

• Strong business development, sales, or commercial experience in the energy field.
• Proven track record of growing revenue and developing partnerships.
• Strong commercial negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Desire to work in a fast moving and entrepreneurial environment.
• Fluent in Dutch and English. French is a plus.

With some (or all) of the following points, you have a clear plus

• Master's degree in the field of economics or engineering, or equivalent level of experience.
• Fluency using MS Excel and interest in AI tools.
• Experience with Odoo is a nice to have.
