Octave's product takes the shape of a two-meter-tall electrical cabinet housing thirteen stacked battery modules, totaling a capacity of 120 kWh.

This large battery can be used either for self-consumption purposes — storing energy generated by solar panels until it’s needed by SMEs — or for leveling out electricity consumption throughout the day, enabling the company to save on its energy bill. It can also be utilized for arbitrage on dynamic pricing. The SMEs store energy when prices are low and discharges their battery when energy prices are at their highest, typically during mornings or evenings.
